The more things change the more they stay the same...

And so it begins, 2012 dawns on us & with it comes a renewed sense of optimism & motivation for the year ahead. Past transgressions seem to be overlooked, slates are wiped clean & the scoreboards are set back to zero. New Year's Resolutions, if any were made, are displayed in plain sight & ready to be acted upon...

..so, that being said, why does this all feel like déjà vu???

Does the changing of the year suddenly wipe our memories clean?
Surely mistakes are meant to be learnt from instead of simply being forgotten?

So, how does the cycle we keep repeating eventually get broken?

Quite simply...it all starts & ends with YOU!!!

Gandhi was definitely onto something when he said
"You must be the change you want to see in the world"
Could it really be that simple?

I'd like to think so but perhaps a more recent new age philosophy appeals to me more
"If you keep doing what you've always done you will keep getting what you've always gotten"
Yeah, I think I like that one a little more ;)

So, that's my suggested advice for real changes in this potentially amazing year ahead.

The ball is in your court...time to play the game...give it your best shot cos we aren't having this same conversation this time next year...lol
